Supperleaf has no account, advertising, analytics, or passive diagnostics. Your recipe library is saved in the app's private storage on your device.
Recipes and source files
Recipe text, source photos or PDFs, edits, collections, favorites, and your shopping list stay in Supperleaf on your device. Image and PDF text recognition runs on the device. Supperleaf does not send your source files to its own server.
Apple may include app data in iCloud or computer backups when you enable device backups. Those backups follow Apple's settings and privacy terms. Supperleaf does not control copies held in a backup you create.
Apple Private Cloud Compute
If you choose recipe assist, Supperleaf explains the transfer and lets you select source lines. Only the checked lines are sent over the internet to Apple Private Cloud Compute for that request. Supperleaf does not include photos, PDFs, your recipe library, or app metadata in that text request. The returned result is a separate draft for you to review; your existing source and draft remain available.

Purchases
Apple processes App Store purchases and manages billing. Supperleaf receives verified purchase status to unlock Pro features; it does not receive your payment card details.
Backups, exports, and deletion
If you export a recipe or library backup, you choose where to save or share the file. Copies saved outside Supperleaf are not removed when you delete recipes in the app. Device backups are separate from the current app library.
Contacting support
If you email support, the support team receives your email address and the message you choose to send. Your email provider may also process the message under its own terms.
